John & Diane Griffin - Owners
Chef John, after graduation with honors
from the Culinary Institute of Atlanta, has worked at many well known
restaurants in Metro Atlanta including Bones, Blue Ridge Grill, Van
Gogh's and most recently as corporate Chef of the Neighborhood Dining
Group ( which included Bitter End Seafood Restaurant and three
Chicago's Steak & Seafood locations in this area and Queen Anne's
Revenge Restaurant in Charleston, S.C. ) Diane is a professional
interior designer who also has experience in training staff and
running the "front of the house." She has worked most recently at
Canyon Cafe' and Basil's.
The concept
for Iron Horse Steakhouse originated with John's desire to bring to
the community ( which is where he and his wife, Diane and two boys,
ages 2 years, 5 years, and their newborn daughter reside ) a relaxing place to enjoy quality dining
without the fancy trappings ( and expense ) of the elegant restaurants
of Atlanta. Like the pioneer spirit exhibited in the days of the Iron
Horse - the locomotive that crossed the plain to bring people to a
simpler place, but one with great opportunity. John & Diane want you
to have the opportunity to experience great food in a simple, relaxed
atmosphere.

find signature aged steaks, fresh seafood and other great entrees as
well as some interesting side dishes and appetizers. Be sure to check
